PRESIDENT:

•  Elected for 2-year term with limit of 3 terms, elected in even numbered years

• CEO of organization

• Preside at all meetings

• Present an annual report

VICE PRESIDENT

•  Elected for 2-year term with limit of 3 terms, elected in odd numbered years

• Assume duties of President if President is absent

• Chairperson of the Nominating Committee

PAST PRESIDENT

•  Provide historical knowledge and mentorship to the board

SECRETARY

•  Appointed by the Board of Directors

• Maintain and record all minutes of all meetings

• Term may be renewed annually

TREASURER

•  Appointed by the board

• Present monthly reports to board of assets and liabilities

• Promptly satisfy financial obligations

• Prepare and submit required forms to state and federal departments of revenue

• Work with the board to finalize a budget by May

• Term may be renewed annually

EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

•  President, VP, Past President and Treasurer

• Transact the business between regular Board of Directors meetings

• Report any activity taken at or before the next Board of Directors meeting

EX OFFICIO MEMBER:    OFFICE MANAGER

•  Part time position to support administration and implementation of the annual Senior Olympics competitions

• Compensated with a monthly stipend

•  Steer the organization towards a sustainable future

• Adopt sound, ethical, and legal governance and financial management policies

• Making sure the nonprofit has adequate resources to advance its mission
