PRESIDENT DUTIES

 

•  Set meeting times and build clear agendas

• Lead all meetings of the Board and keep the members focused on the main goals

• Help recruit and orient new board members

• Ensure that the board follows its bylaws and New Mexico state laws

• Act as the primary link between the board and the committees

• Guide committee work and check on progress

• Serve as a public face and/or spokesperson for the organization when needed
